MY STORY
My name is Holly Ortiz and I'm the founder and owner of Holly Marie Designs. In 2007, I graduated from Michigan State University (Go Green) with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Advertising. It was at my first advertising job that I met my husband, Randy. While I liked my job, I knew it was not a passion of mine. Therefore, it was an easy decision for me to stay home when I had our son, Tripp, and our daughter, Emma.
However, once the kids began attending school, I knew I wanted something more. Something I was passionate about. In 2017, a realtor friend asked if I would be interested in staging her listings before they hit the market. After about a year, I started staging houses for her entire team.
In 2020, I decided to take the next step and I enrolled in the New York Institute of Art & Design (NYAID) for their Interior Design Program. In January 2021, with the encouragement of my husband, friends, and family, I launched Holly Marie Designs. From smaller "cosmetic lifts" to full remodel jobs, I have helped many clients turn their "before" pictures into their "afters." I would love to do the same for you!
